Covid19 Project

Long Covid Project People First (Self Advocacy) is one of six organisations working with National Voices on the Long Covid project. Our role is to make sure the experiences of people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism are included in this work. The National Voices project purpose is to:  Support voluntary sector organisations work together to gather the experiences of the people they work with, and make a joint response about the challenges of Long Covid  Provide a voice for those facing exclusion from the health system. 1  Influence the work of NHS England and NHS Improvement We have been asked to run some Focus Groups in October and November with people with learning difficulties, learning disabilities and autism. We will also send a questionnaire to advocates and other people who work with people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism. Where we do we start if we want people to come to us anytime they want to know what people with learning difficulties think? What are the steps?
